Workplace HR training

“Legally Speaking” – Onsite HR Training Course

Every workplace needs training for its employees not only on its handbook, policies, and procedures but also on the relevant employment laws applicable to all companies, workplaces, employees and managers. This training can prevent lawsuits, limit damages available to an aggrieved employee, and create a more harmonious and productive workplace. Who better to provide this training than employment attorneys experienced not only in advising employers on these matters on a day-to-day basis but also experienced in defending employers in court?

These attorneys understand not only the legal requirements and HR best practices, but also how a jury interprets and perceives an employer’s policies and actions in the event an employer finds itself in court. This dual perspective provides a level of insight, knowledge, and expertise that results in a training program rarely seen in the HR industry.

“Legally Speaking” is led by employment lawyers who have tried numerous cases before courts and administrative agencies throughout the United States and who provide training and counseling to clients on a regular basis. In addition, these lawyers have spoken to business organizations, trade organizations, multiple Texas SHRM chapters, and are regular presenters at the Texas statewide SHRM conference, the HR Southwest Conference.

“Legally Speaking” is an interactive and hands-on training program personalized to your business and your policies and led by charismatic and engaging employment attorneys. The program can be utilized for general HR training for your employees or management-level HR training. All training is conducted at your place of business and includes two employment attorney facilitators.
